For a versatile and durable belt, look no further than our Full Grain Vegetable Tan Leather Belt. With a sturdy brass roller buckle and a stainless steel pin/tong, this belt will outlast the rest. It's made from a single layer of Hermann Oak full grain strap grade leather, specifically tanned for use in strap goods, at a sturdy 9 oz thickness. This combination of leather and buckle creates a long-lasting everyday belt that can withstand years of use. And if you prefer to switch out buckles, simply remove the two Chicago screws (screw-style rivet fasteners) to open the fold and make the change.
The natural oils in these belts will darken and develop a unique patina with use. Care for a vegetable-tanned belt is simple – just wear it and enjoy. In case of minor cleaning, a damp cloth will suffice most of the time. For deeper cleaning, a glycerin-based soap can be used. Apply a light coat of leather conditioner and rub it in well if the belt becomes dry or after cleaning. If you don't have any conditioner, we offer cans of leather cream that are highly effective.
To ensure a custom fit, please provide your measurement after placing the order. Use an old belt to measure from the fold where the leather folds around the buckle to the most commonly used hole. Include this measurement in the notes section at checkout. Photos are available for reference if needed. If you do not have a previous belt to use as reference, you will need a cloth tape measure. Pass the tape through a pair of jeans while wearing them and measure in that manner. If you are using a tape measure through belt loops, please mention it in the note during checkout as the number given may require a minor adjustment.
